@EvenTheDogAgrees We have 110 outlets all over the house for general use. Most households have exactly two 220v outlets, and they are for the cookstove, and another for the clothes dryer. That is all. Although of course you could have an electrician wire a special 220v as another commenter said, from another part of the country for AC (it's way too cold where I am to be concerned with wired AC) or for commercial applications, say, a garage might need 220v for something. Not typical households.

I'm starting to wonder if it's illegal in the US to sell units over 1500w!? Perhaps that is why we don't have higher wattage units. I bet you are right - because we would be plugging them into our 110v outlets and fires would be rampant. Good call!

What is this heat death you speak of? It is below zero where I am! We have a 7 month winter, you crazy weirdo!

Great video, but I think you are talking about the wrong thing here. Come to Maine and tell me if the small heaters work as well as the certain other ones in January at heating up a cold room. I definitely get your efficiency argument. Great. Agree how the Kilowatt tester proves how they are 750/1500 watts. Just because they work efficiently, doesn't mean they all equally heat all exactly the same. If we could figure out how to tell the best one, now THAT is what we want to know!
