@12kenbutsuri Most westerns are completely ignorant about the nightmare going on in Japan right now. Homeless elderly, people dying alone, and the young people who are earning the same wages that their parents earned 30 years ago.

@mikedavison4313 How else are the boomers going to get those crazy high returns they need so they can retire and live their best life?

@wesleylee6575 Are these houses the tofu dreg ones? Most of these houses or apartment towers wont survive the coming decade due to shoddy construction.

@armaanchowdhury1690 you people? Here I am being civil. Lol I'm not even religious clown. And having lived in Japan 10 years, they wouldn't take kindly to religion anyways.

@aryaaswale7316 Chinese people dont trust banks. For obvious reasons. Homes are their retirement accounts. One of the issues is that the growth of people in China has come to a standstill. So demand is ebbing. This is going to be something that is felt in the rest of the world over the next 50 years. Demand is going to start dropping, it will be interesting to see.

@stuntmonkey00 The Japanese should be fearful of immigration. It solves none of the problems and creates orders more.

@darkhorseman8263 No but Chinese investors may be forced to sell assets abroad to cover domestic losses. That could be huge in certain areas. Akin to Japan deinvestment in the late 80s in certain areas in the US.

@parthlm1073 The need to build more troop transports then. Because the two dozen barges they have now wont last 20 minutes.

No, it didnt matter. China has been over counting their births for at least two decades, close to 100 million. Now all that expected growth is not going to show up. Nothing will save the Chinese housing market. They are probably already declining population wise which me the demand pressure will be non existent and every year it will just get worse and worse. If current projections are true they will be at 650 million people by 2050.

Japans first reaction to their falling birth crisis was to push more women into the work force to raise GDP. The know their massive debt is going to crush them. If you want to address the problem, let women stay home and have children. The question is, will they? Women in most developed countries are told to finish school and go to higher education and then get a good job and become financially stable. Then around 30 they start looking to have kids. If you want your population to be stable or even grow, thats just a bad formula. What many people fail to see or even understand is that when women have their children around the age of 20 vs 30 in 60 years you have three generations with women have children on average at 20. But if they wait until thirty you only have 2. You completely lose a generation of people. Japan is now at that 60 year moment. And most of the west is fast approaching it.

@ah2522 China just makes new companies since the state owns them all. Its just a shell game.

@armaanchowdhury1690 dying alone is cause, many times, from not having a family. Both of which stem, from an inability to adapt to modern social pressures, lacking space to have said family and having money to raise said family. All the problems are connected. If you do not understand that, or can, well thats ok I guess.

@armaanchowdhury1690 I'm guessing English is a second language for you if you ate getting that from both my posts, which is fine. You just aren't understanding what I'm communicating.
