  1. a gallon of milk is a gallon of milk, an egg is an egg. But comparing a 1970 vehicle or home to a vehicle or home in 2023 is comical at best. Try to drive any vehicle in 1970 300k with an engine. Home sizes have doubled since 1986. And in the future, the inflation of large cohorts like the boomers and millennials will not exist. The millennials, for a myriad of reasons, have not had enough kids. But demand just isnt going to be there in the future.
