Thats how they make their money, by selling out their nations for a sliver of what interests take. Of course they are going to be against it.

The problem is that it caused the recession of 48 that most people thought was the return of the Great Depression. Its a shame it isnt talked about more. But no politician today, would actively do what Reagan did in 1980, pushed the Fed to cause a recession for the good of long term growth. No one. And because of that it wont happen. There isnt the political will. And where will you cut? The military? Democrats want to aid Ukraine. Republicans want to aid Israel. Social spending? Democrats love social welfare like Medicaid. Republicans love SSI and Medicare, elderly are one of their largest supporters. Those 4 things are like 85% of the Federal budget. Gut the rest of the government completely, still dont have a balanced budget. The problem today is someones sacred cow is going to get slaughtered. So whose will it be?

Yes but they pretend like those migrants generate more value than they consume, which they never have. They just expedite the problem and then you add crime and cultural issues into the mix.

Why would you expect an explosion in productivity when globally population is in the process of crashing? We wont need the extra productivity. At this point I think most people are divorced from reality for what is coming down the road for the next 50 years. Bond market wont survive anyways as exporting nations start imploding. They will have to sell everything just to defend their currency, like Japan is about to do.
