This was a problem in the long long ago in the age of the AOL chat rooms. I am pretty sure that this has always been a thing. I think its about social interaction. A lot of people are very lonely. I go to my sons schools and it makes me want to cry. I feel socially, we are at a crisis point. Add to this body positivity and a lack of drive to be physically active almost all male and female interaction stops. At this rate we are going to end up like the Zentraedi.

@Danjirus Yea that reasoning didnt fly with me either. These people are just lonely and are doing to get any sort of human interaction. A maladaptive coping stratagem. I am not going to judge them though. Our society is clearly not functioning right and hasnt been for a while. Only now, when you cant not see it are people starting to worry about it. I honestly dont know how we are going to roll this back. People are just broken. But worse, they have zero discipline to make themselves better.
