  1.  @rosenrotohh9627  Japans government is the problem. They have created such a debt burden that they have to push everyone to work to keep the GDP stable even as the population declines. But eventually that wont work and the Japanese central government will first have to cut spending and then, inevitably, default. But they are playing a game of kicking the can down the road. The Soviets did something similar, but it was largely to do social pressure to meet quotas, rather than the fault of central planners.

  3. this is why I retired at 46. I feel bad for the young men coming up. Best advice is find a male dominated field you can stomach and grind until you can start doing what you want.
