  1. I dislike HOA's. But people chose to purchase property or homes in places with HOAs. Its a choice. The HOA is there, in theory, to protect property values making sure a base standard is applied to all those living in said HOA. That said I would never live in one. I prefer no restrictions on my property. But again, its a choice that this woman made when purchasing her home in that community.
