Democrats were just cooped by out and out communists. The people leaving are the non power hungry. These are your traditional rank and file light socialist/unionist Democrats. They are at least someone you can have a rational debate with in good faith, at least most of the time. Unfortunately, due to the money nature in modern politics, its unlikely these individuals will not be able to create their own party, which means they will either be absorbed by the Republican party further pulling the part to the left or they will wither into obscurity.
