@leos8019 For thousands of years natives did annual controlled burns to thin the forests to allow for hunting of game. Starting in the early 20th century the US forestry service did everything in its power to put out ANY fire that started. This happened for 70 years. Thats alot of dead wood that needs to be cleared out. Then after, the forests, because they are not managed, are choked with shrubs like Manzanita that are filled with a type of plant oil that makes it burn three times as hot as normal plants. If you want to see a properly managed forest I would encourage you to go to the Grand Canyon. Massive herds of Elk all around the park. All because they do a little thinning and forest management. In California you cant have that, even scrub deer have problems getting around.

Talks about water but doesnt talk about the Delta Smelt. lol I can see this individual has never been to California. Politics has indeed ruined California, its why I left.

@Raussl How much water do the nations of spain or italy flush down their rivers to keep a fish alive that somehow managed to stay alive when the rivers would go dry, before the water management systems were put into place?
