  2. Societies that do not reward a thing, get less of it. Societies that reward other things get more of that. Its as simple as that. And as a society becomes less worthy of being invested in, why should the strong, virtuous or wise do such a thing. Their time is limited, they focus on other things. Like preparing for the future. Once they have chosen that rough, they simply stand by and let nature take its course. What I find funny is Simone's question on why dont men have more kids. Men dont have kids. Women do. You are asking the wrong question.

  3. One could argue that in the past. Today that seems different. I wonder if its the perceived threat in modernity that is the problem now? It would explain the extreme levels of anxiety in the highest social tiers of women.
