I think what you guys are seeing in the "urban monoculture" is a continuance of Soviet ideology that has gone through multiple generations of mutation, but is still ultimately led by true believers with the ultimate goal of destabilizing the US, while not understanding that the war they have been fighting for has so long ago been lost. It screams of Soviet attempts at demoralization.
