  1. There are two types of married women. Those who got who they wanted and those who settled. The former is happy and a builder of society along side their mate. The latter is a destructive typhoon of unhappiness that ends with the modern Karen. Both are married, but they are not the same. As far as fertility rates go, I really think more needs to be looked at at who are having children. The studies in Japan show that the women who do have children almost all have numbers at or above replacement rate for their families. But there is a large and growing segment of women who have none. The question is why? Another poster stated that it was because men cannot out compete men in the work force when there are prejudicial hiring standards for women. There simply arent enough "good" men to go around. But any attempt to address this will be seen as misogyny because these types of things are now seen as rights. What do you do to a population that thinks the things that are killing it are good? I am pretty sure that is where we are at. Then dump other things like inflation caused by government overspending and laws that favor the elderly over the young and you have the modern west. There was a guy a long time ago who said something that seemed comically simplistic, "The UN states that empowering women is the best way to lower the fertility rate. Everywhere it has been done the fertility rate is down and down hard. Now they are wondering how to raise it. I dont know, its a Scooby-Doo mystery?" The answer is staring us in the face but we dont like it. And thats fine. Its not like this hasn't happened before. And those societies and people who are to cowardly to address issues head on deserve the ash heap of history.
