@TheGintama86 Thats just Japanese culture. Its expected for a woman to manage the family finances. The purpose of the family is to raise children, the logic goes the woman has the kids, so she has the most invested. But they can be ball breakers. And in modern Japan, divorce rates are high. And after a few generations of not seeing their fathers after their parents divorced, a lot of Japanese men have checked out. I loved living there for the time I had. Its a shame that they cant find the way.

Korea? Korea is cat lady central. Only 1 in 4 Korean women every even have a single kid. Their nation is dying. It was bad when I was there in the 90s. I cant imagine what its like now. They do respect the military. While I was there, I never had to pay for a meal when I went out after training with the RoK marines. The merchants wouldnt take my money. Its a shame all the east asian nations have decided to not reproduce.
