Her assisted suicide in 2022 had zero to do with her 2006 experiment for her book, A Self Made Man. Her other book, Voluntary Madness, talks about her three inpatient hospital stays for mental illness.

  28. Diversity focus is a huge problem. When that is what you are focused on, checking boxes, you arent worried about talent. That means missed deadlines, screwed up projects and poorer management. All of these things lead to massive increases in budgets due to inefficiencies. This is the same reason why Hollywood budgets, specifically Marvel and Lucasfilm budgets are exploding. They only care about diversity. Product is secondary. I do feel bad about the talented workers though. They have to suffer through the political bs and ineptitude of their co workers.

  49. I always felt that racing games and games like grand theft auto were screaming to have billboards put in them. A company wants to advertise, let them foot part of the development cost and get advertising. Though that probably wont be the way they go, they will want to just make more revenue. But then those who buy ads space will be able to direct creative control. I could see a company like red bull wanting in the next Grand Theft Auto game, but how about a company like Chick-fil-A? Maybe they will see it as a way to reach out to people who need to be "saved". I could see things going a lot of different ways.
