  1. Diversity focus is a huge problem. When that is what you are focused on, checking boxes, you arent worried about talent. That means missed deadlines, screwed up projects and poorer management. All of these things lead to massive increases in budgets due to inefficiencies. This is the same reason why Hollywood budgets, specifically Marvel and Lucasfilm budgets are exploding. They only care about diversity. Product is secondary. I do feel bad about the talented workers though. They have to suffer through the political bs and ineptitude of their co workers.
