  1. We had a guy in the hospital I worked in years ago. He had just gotten a new bike jacket that had the spinal protection in it for Fathers day. The next day, that Monday he was driving into SF when a van cut him off and sent him flying over the edge of the Bay Bridge and he landed on the back of a moving Truck about 100 feet below on the western end in San Francisco. He broke his arms and legs in multiple places, Broke his jaw and had a fractured skull. He even had a fracture pelvis. But what wasnt damged, his spine. If you are a biker and love your family, wear your armor. I cringe every time I see a guy on a crotch rocket with his girl on his back in a tank top, shorts and flip flops.
