  1. The issue isnt it being reformed. Its the fact that each school district has a legion of "support personnel" that do nothing. Why does a elementary school need a lawyer or a diversity inclusion expert? All of these things take away resources from educators. And not to mention that most educators are piss poor because the ones with any sense get out as soon as possible. I know I did when California told me I couldnt teach history because it would hurt peoples feelings. Parents dont care enough to stand up to the school boards and politicians just want money to go where it will get them the most votes. Its why I home schooled my kids and they graduated 3 years early.

  2. This is what happens when you dont hold kids back when they need to be. You are just looking at people who care about metrics and what the race, religion, gender of the students are. If the wrong students are failing push them through. Cant have the school or the district look bad. But the actual kids, whatever. Its why I have long said, the public school system is a works program. If the students learn anything, thats just a happy accident. You ever see the freeways and the roads when school isnt in, like winter and spring breaks? They are a god damn ghost town.
