  2.  @JonahsWail  People should have known what was coming when JJ Abrams was given Star Wars. Since then almost everything has gone down hill as far as movies and whatnot. Such are the times.

  3. Studios dont let artists make their art. This goes for video games as well as TV and movies. Because of costs everything must be perfect, everything is test screened and then re cut and re re cut it then do re writes and re shoots. Its no longer art at that point. Its content. Its lifeless. Its sterile. Now dont get me wrong. The Acolyte was never going to be art. It was a self indulgent piece of content at best, ideological nonsense at worst. But the executives trying to put a tie on a turd, well, thats what the Acolyte is. A turd with a tie. There are very few artists in Hollywood or filmmaking anymore.
