@alessioraccagni3753 Nah, the price to build one is roughly 150 bucks. Thats with American labor. If a company wants to charge 8k for it, thats up to them. They will just go bankrupt.

They still have factories in the US, well Honda and Toyota do. Honda has factories in Ohio, Indiana, Georgia and Alabama. Toyota in Kentucky, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, currently have a plant under construction in North Carolina.

@baxykilafsh1313 The US Federal government ran off tariffs and alcohol tax stamps until 1913. What folks like you dont get, is nations that export need the US market. If not their national economy implodes overnight. In the US people just wont be able to go to walmart and buy junk. The two are not the same.

@senzhao4214 The unemployment rate is a lie. Look at the labor participation rate. That tells you the real truth. We still haven't even reached pre covid levels of employment rates yet.

@Auxius. Or, or, as the exporting nations get absolutely wrecked they will limit their tariffs to once again have access to our markets. The US doesnt need the world, the world does need the US market though. We have a position of strength, only a fool wouldnt use it.
