  1. The needing to buy an Anime Expo ticket is like the dead donkey raffle. Guy sees a farmer with a dead donkey and says I will buy that off you for a silver. Farmer says what? its a dead donkey. The guy doesnt care. So the farmer says ok. Guy goes into town and posts fliers about a raffle for a donkey for one silver per entry. Gets tons of people who want said donkey making hundreds of silver. Then the lucky indivudal wins the raffle and comes to collect his donkey only to find it dead. So the guy says, look im sorry, it died, but I will do you a solid. Heres 10 silver for your trouble. Raffle winner is like wow, thanks. Meanwhile the guy who started the raffle walks off with a bag of silver. This company is just like that. Shysters, the lot of them.

  2. Buy backs should not be allowed, or if they are they should be taxed at 50% of their value.

  3.  @atys  that assumes the company pays a dividend. Most dont. Many times this is done so that higher up executives reach targets in their contracts that grant them bonuses. But long term this always damages companies. If a company has enough money that they can buy back stock, they arent paying enough dividend (if they pay out dividends) or they are not properly managing their pricing structure. Lower prices will grow your market share. But they dont care about this. They care about the next quarters profit, nothing else.
