To bad laws prevent this.

@SoloRenegade How about code section 3400 of the Californian code. How about title 4D of the social security act. I can go all day with laws.

@SoloRenegade I told you, read them. I dont know what state you live in. State laws vary. I can tell you the laws of the states I have lived. I get it you dont like my position. You dont want to read title 4d of the social security act thats on you. Be blind. I am not sure what good or gain you will get out of it. But hey you do you.

Sounds like you are using your own life experience to color your opinion of all things. Thats why anecdotal evidence is poor evidence. Currently, out of married couples, 46.8 percent both work. Math wise that would mean that 53.2 percent of marriages have a spouse who isnt working. This is why actual data is important for shaping our world view and not anecdotal evidence, which we attach emotional feelings to. Otherwise we end up thinking all sorts of things that are just factually false.

@lorrilewis2178 Thats from labor statistics. I get it you dont want to believe stats that conflict with your lives experience. thats fine. But that would be equally as foolish as me using my own marriage, where my stay at home wife stopped cleaning the house, stopped taking care of the kids, stopped taking them to school, stopped meal prep, etc etc all while still expecting me to work my normal job and come home and do everything at home sometimes while working double shifts. And its why I kicked her out. One would ask why you dont do the same to yours? But thats my experience, that is just one data point, like yours. It is not the totality of what is. And to think that way is extremely short sighted. Its why anecdotal evidence is bad. There is to much emotional context to it to get a clear picture. But maybe you just want to exist in your righteous fury, for all the good that will do you.

@LisaCulton I could pile up tons from the other side as well. But what good will that do? When you want to be right at the expense of resolving what is clearly a very large cultural issue you arent helping, you are just part of the problem. Which is fine. But you should understand what part you are playing. Most women act like their spouse or former spouse is the worst creature on the planet, weird that they chose to marry that person.

@LisaCulton Thats a very nice way to say shit posting.

@LisaCulton I could easily state everything you did and apply it to women. And thats why nothing you stated is helpful.

@LisaCulton No, men dont want responsibility without authority. Its a recipe for disaster.

We have all been sold the lie of equality and egalitarianism. Historians will look back at this time period and wonder why we fought against our biology so hard. And for what? Misery? A little political power? An unhappy older age where most have little to nothing except more emotional baggage than a Himalayan Sherpa could move? I cannot wait for modernity to break under its own lies and myopic rot. Not for me, but for my sons and hopefully their children.

@markdatheist9179 I went from barely being able to pay the bills every month after putting away money from retirement when I was married with 3 sons, to after she left having an extra 40k a year while keeping my sons. People do not understand how expensive a woman is. My opinion now is that unless you want kids, the vast majority of women are completely useless to a man. The modern women is just a status symbol.
