  1. They are out there. You just have to pay more. Which is inflationary and makes you less competitive. The problem is that anyone can walk into a a place of business and get a job now. My 17 year old got hired yesterday to be a cashier at a grocery store. No experience, first job, 17 bucks an hour. Employers are desperate as boomers retire. The Zoomers just arent big enough to make up the difference by volume. But you are right about a lot of the younger people not knowing much. My sons say that a lot of people their age are just worthless. But there are also a lot of hard workers too. I wish you and your brothers success in this hard time. Businesses like yours are the solid foundation on which sound economies are based. People, unfortunately, wont understand that until its to late.

  2. We are already in stagflation. There is only one way through. Higher rates. Nothing else will address the excess liquidity in the economy. And if you think things are bad now, we are still eating last years food. Food prices, are not only going to explode in cost, but there will be massive shortages. If you dont believe me, ask your meat dept in your local supermarket how short shipments are.
