  1. I mean its strong because all other nations live off trade. Foreign nations get those dollars from the US via trade, then those nations loan them out to other nations. So dollar demand remains insanely high. Everyone pretty much uses the dollar for transactions, even outside of oil. They cant stop doing that because then their nations banks will go bankrupt because of the dollar loans they loaned out will get defaulted on. If defaults start it just creates a liquidity crisis... increasing demand for even more dollars because no one will trust other nations who defaulted currency.
