The dark red spot in northern California is Butte county. That county was destroyed by fire. There are no homes there to buy, building is to expensive, and even if you did, fire insurance would cost a fortune. I am sure that are a few more spots like that on this map all over this nation. Just something to think about when casting aspersion at your neighbors.
