I wish his mom would stop talking, shes putting him in jeopardy for a civil lawsuit. Remorse has an actual meaning, at its core it means to feel guilty for doing something WRONG. Defending oneself from a mob isnt wrong, its natural. What he feels is empathy for the people he killed. And thats a good thing.

@StompMom5 reporting has a valid and needed aspect to it in regards to social interaction as well as decision making. Its the idea that any source of media is unbiased that is the issue. But I do get your point of the modern media, its more infotainment than data at this point.

Its a shame the news doesnt discuss what is actually happening in China right now so the average Joe and Jane can put this into context. All of these provocations are just China's way of showing its people that the central government and party is strong. Meanwhile the south of the country the wheat harvest is ruined due to rains, estimates are that it will only be 30% of what is should be. In the north utter collapse due to drought and none of the corn grown there will be harvested come fall. Add to this the Swine Fever outbreak that has caused 100s of millions of pigs to be culled the last several years and what you have is a biblical famine about to take place. Americans need to know what is happening in China. It may very well avert a war.

@Jonathan Murray there were millions of job openings before the coof. Now we have those plus a larger and larger segment of boomers tapping out of the job market.
