In some markets housing has already plateaued. Its actually starting to turn down in East Tn. I imagine it is other places too, if you actually look at sold for prices, not listing prices.

@realestatemindset People are still asking insane prices but you see them either pull listings or relist them with downgraded prices. I dont expect a correction like 08 in most areas. But they certainly will go down to pre pandemic levels. But thats just me, I could be totally wrong. They deciding question will be what does interest rate hikes do to homeowners and how that effects foreclosures since people cant use their homes as ATMs anymore. I fear many will be in a trap. Combined with the losses companies like black rock are having in China and Russia, they may have a liquidity crisis. Interesting times.
