  1. To paraphrase Aristophanes, "Ah! the Economists! they are numerous, but not good for much." One of the issues is that every one of these economists has a dog in the fight. So you never know what they are being blinded by. All of these guys seem like they are just trying to keep the mortgage market moving. Thats all they talked about. Mortgages. Not one of them mentioned demographic demand trends or the effects of prolonged Fed tightening. They still think the Fed will let off the breaks. Its pure cope.
