Homes are overvalued. People dont need to sell their homes, and many think that things will turn around. But as this recession deepens that thinking will change. And then there will be the realtors. As their work dries up, many will pressure their clients to lower their properties to sell so they can stay in work. First it was start as a trickle but then market psychology will switch and people will rush to put their homes on the market. Unfortunately for them this will be after the new home builders have sold all their homes at a discount vastly lowering demand. And then again, due to demographics I think we are about to find out actual really world demand, as in terms of need, isnt what we think it is. We have enough homes in the US for a home for every 1.8 people in the US.
