  1. I use to live in California. I had a neighbors who lived in their house for 7 years without making a full payment once. They would just refi and then not pay anymore. A lot of people live like that believe it or not. Now they cant. But California laws intentionally make foreclosing next to impossible. They dont want the prices to drop because then tax revenue to drop.

  3. Poor financial policy is the problem. We never addressed the problems from 07-08. Until we do, nothing will resolve.

  4.  @JohnWick-su2nh  Really, I wasnt aware. I left in 2020. The only thing I regret is not leaving sooner. Its a shame what has happened to California but I couldnt stop it. And everything all my extended family owned burned. So there was little to keep us there at that point.

  6.  @steverogers9453  In California, IF everything runs perfectly it takes a full 180 days to remove someone from property. Its literally insane and people think its protecting renters. But they dont understand that to make up for the non renter payment they have to jack up rates on others. You tell them this and they just look at you slack jaws and say, "No that cant be right, they are just greedy." Yeah greedy for a mere 4% return. lol Most rational land lords sold any property they could. It is a dumpster fire there and gets worse every day
