  1. Why do you assume these are investors? How do you know they arent owned by banks or 2ndary residences aka summer homes? But if alot of those homes are bank owned, never regained their values from 2008, if banks sell them, then they take a loss. Then add a decade of maintenance and damage issues. Back taxes too. Also home prices need to stay high, what happens when tax revenue falls and states start going bankrupt?

  2.  @realestatemindset  I dont disagree with you, on the need to find out what this data means. How far back does your data go? Does it show a drastic change of empty housing over the last 4 years or does this go back a decade?
