  2. These companies, like the banks, wont mind if they have losses. They just need to control the losses so they can write them off for tax purposes without going bankrupt. That means spreading out the losses slowly.

  3. These are sucker cuts. The same thing happened in early 2007. By Dec of 2007 it was a fire sale. This time wont be any different.
