A lot of those homes sitting were flippers or people who were going to tele commute and bought during the scamdemic. Now they are looking at getting laid off in a lot of fields plus have an extra mortgage to pay for. For those people I do feel bad for. The flippers, just like in 2007-2008 got caught up in easy money. You can go through and look at the homes put up, you see them bought within the last year and a half. All of those will either get foreclosed on or short sell. They cant even rent them out, they would still lose money and if you get a bad renter the house gets wrecked. Its going to be a bloodbath.
