  1. Just like the end of 2007. I bought a home from DR Horton that was priced at $535k. This was in northern California. I got the home for $216k, new washer and dryer, and the back yard completed to my wants. It got down to 183k value in 2014. I sold it last year for $520k. Its since dropped 40k below what they paid for it. The same thing is coming again.
