  2.  @agarrikr2996  I have the same opinion. I served. Ukraine is not a US alley. They poked the bear since 2014. It woke up and now they will get mauled. NATO doesnt want to deal with any of this. They know there is no way the UK and the US are going to send troops to fight. So who is going to fight Russia? Hopefully this will end quickly with limited bloodshed. But Ukraine is looking for volunteers, so go get over there. Show them Russians what for. And not once has NATO fought in defense. As an organization it should be disbanded.

  3.  @niles1492  Its hard to fight armored columns when you have no air cover. I am going to guess you have never served in a military or had to fight in a conflict. (this isnt a dig at you just an observation) The various units probably cant even communicate because the Russians took out their command and control and communications in the first moments of the attack. If you cant talk to each other you cannot coordinate counter attacks. And the close proximity is one of the reasons why Russia could not have the Ukraine join NATO. Because NATO could have done the same to Russia. And as it currently stands there is a NATO member less than one hour tank drive from Russia's 2nd largest city. So many people do not understand how war is waged and so they cant understand why certain things happen. And then there is the Russian PTSD from being invaded so many times in the last 300 years. Their view of the world is one of paranoia.

  4.  @Snuffalaffagas  I think you missed my sarcasm. But yes I agree, we should let the Europeans, since they are so much older and wiser than us provincial Americans, deal with this clearly European problem.

  9.  @markuskoarmani1364  That fear of replacement is whats keeping them from kicking Russia from SWIFT. Petrodollar will go bye bye. Or thats the fear anyways. But there currently isnt enough value for bitcoin to cover the trades in the SWIFT system.
