  1. Everything needs to go to pay down the debt. Americans have elected individuals who, with their electoral approval, have been bipartisan spendthrifts. If you add that much money to the economy all it will do is cause inflation and end up in the pockets of a few as people use it to by consumable goods. It wont help anything. Paying off 2 trillion of debt will help.
