What if I told you the Mexican fertility rate is 1.9? You need 2.1 for a steady population. Mexico is in the same boat as everyone else. Even Niger's fertility rate is dropping on average 1% a year. This is a global problem.

@MrRezillo Thats an interesting sentence you constructed. "lower orders" and "overbreed". Do you by chance have a funny mustache and a penchant for snazzy uniforms? All kidding aside. If you were ever poor, which from your insanely side comment I can tell you have not been, you would know that one of the cheapest and funniest activities that men and women have come up with is absolutely free, though sometimes there is a surprise upon completion. One could easily ask whey those who have wealth beyond the dreams of most people have little to no children at all? Perhaps a cup with no bottom cannot be filled, maybe?

@keedt Argentina's problems are purely political. It has zero to do with geography, though their position in the globe, about as far away from the most advanced markets as you can get, surely adds to the cost of things.

@kq2799 because of how most nations societies are structures and how taxes are paid. Its not like most people still farm and produce their own food so even if the checks stopped, they could still eat. If the checks stop, because there are to few to pay those taxes, then not only do the pensioners stop getting money, but the stores also loose all their shoppers who are pensioners. Thats how societies collapse over night. Or you could just print a lot of money like Venezuela and get the same thing.

P A it was clearly a joke. The rest of the post shows that. Yet several people in this thread accused me of calling hitler. The youth have zero sense of humor these days. Red fox or Richard pryor would melt their brains I think.

Boy are you in for a surprise. Japan's fertility rate 1.34, South Korea's fertility rate 0.84, and Vietnam's fertility rate 1.96. In south korean only 1 woman in 4 even has a child. And all three of those nations are exporting nations. And with everyones population near max levels, or actively declining, that does not bode well for demand or their long term economies.

@tethryss5001 shit indeed.

@knoll9812 Its the rate of change thats the problem. In 1973 the fertility rate in Vietnam was 6. Now its 1.9. Its suspiciously been 1.9 for two decades now. I would not be surprised if their numbers are false honestly. Kind of like Chinas. But they are certainly better than China, Japan and South Korea... probably.

@jtonxbox1433 Thats because they are to busy paying taxes on money that was spent 30 years ago. Thats what Keynesian economics gets you. Nothing is free. Nothing.

@joemccarthy7120 Cool story.

@MrRezillo ah deflection. Nice.

Considering Polands fertility is 1.38. The future is looking very empty for Poland. At least real estate will be cheaper.

@DieFlabbergast lmao you say immigration. Thats an incorrect term. The correct term is invasion and forced assimilation by the new ascendant ethnicity and culture. There isnt going to be immigration. This is historically normal. Its just in recent history its been unusual.

The Japanese are trying to do everything they can to keep women int he work force to keep their GDP up as long as they can. Otherwise their nation will be crushed by their own debt. And as a nation that imports everything, going bankrupt will send them back to the 18th century. Seriously no one in the world is addressing the underlying issue. Women arent having children, for whatever reason. Address that, and this problem will resolve. The UN is really clear on this, the quickest way to reduce a nations fertility rate is to empower and educated women. So how do you reverse the effects of that without tearing your civilization apart?

@dangonzalezb apparently you don't understand how oil and natural gas are bought. Interesting you start off with telling someone to shut up. Are you mentally ill and incapable of civil discussion?
