  1. Even if they "win" they have still lost. With the amount of infrastructure destroyed and the amound of Ukrainians who have left and more than likely will never come back, Ukraine is dead. Before this war started they were the most corrupt nation in Europe with one of the worst demographic trends. This just sped things up. Very sad but this same thing will happen to a lot of nations in the next 50 years.
