@CathyKitson You do understand why Hiroshima was a legitimate military target right? It was a military target. There were multiple bases in Hiroshima. The head of Army Logistics and a major troop loading facility that would have been used if the invasion of Kyushu took place in 1946 was also located in Hiroshima too. Its nice to look back 75 years and think they could just lob a cruise missile through a window and call it a day. The only war crime was that the Japanese government failed to surrender when they knew all was lost and forced Trumans hand. Truman would have been the most vilified president ever had he sent 500k to a million American service members to their deaths to secure the Japanese islands. Hell you might not even exist.

@76HENDRIK10 Who would surrender then? Oh yea you killed their god. I am sure they will all just surrender now. I take it you dont know much about the indoctrination process the imperial military and the civilians underwent.
