Faith in the biblical definition means trust. You can't trust without evidence. Christians in general are called to"always be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in you". Want to see blind faith? Give one example of macro - evolution. Give one explanation of abiogenesis(spontaneous generation). That's how atheist scientists say life began. Show me how the universe can be started by nothing from nothing without a first cause. We live in a fallen world because we screwed it up thousands of years ago and told God we wanted it our way. So he loosened his grip on the world and chaos set in. It was perfect until we revolted and thought we could be God. What's your evidence that God perpetrated "all that". Are you using that "fairytale"that you say doesn't exist? Cause I didn't see any of that in the bible being done by God. And if there's nothing at the end of this but death, why keep sucking wind? Why prolong the inevitable? At least Nietzsche was honest about his atheism. If there is no God, life is absolutely meaningless. Yeah, you can make up meaning but it's just a farce. You tricking yourself so you don't feel bad about it. But ultimately your just lying to yourself. I think that's why most atheists suffer from depression and many end up committing suicide. But I can't live that out. I see intangible things like love, honor, respect, logic, and reason and know there's more to life than matter and energy. I know there's more out there than we know and it makes it totally possible for there to be more to life after we die. If death was all that awaited us then there is no real justice. The Hitler's of the world would suicide themselves and get away with their atrocities. But justice does exist. We strive for it, each and every one of us. So that gives me confidence that ultimate justice exists to. I guess you won't find that out until it's too late. I suggest you stop listening to people that pretend to be wise and start listening to the source of all wisdom. You'll probably fair better.

  39. Almon Dice I'm sorry for whatever experience you had that would make you think that. But I believe the bible to be 100% accurate from cover to cover. I don't find any part of the bible to be convenient except where it says that salvation is a gift of God that no man can earn on his own works. I find that very convenient seeing as we are all sinners and all of us are deserving of God's wrath. But he gave his son on the cross so that if we just believe in him and that he was resurrected, God's going to take the hit for us so that we will be forgiven. I like convenience like that. Going against the sinful nature that we all possess isn't as convenient as you might think. Loving thy enemy, doing that which is right even when the opportunity for revenge presents itself, not knocking someone out that mocks us for our faith. That's very inconvenient.

So I don't see how you could have a different one than the one that revealed himself to us and showed us who he was by the prophetic teachings in the scriptures. God sees past present and future at a glance and revealed it to us so we would know it was him. Did your god do that?
