  1. How did i know he was going to suggest government controlled drug distribution. Is anyone stupid enough to fall for this? No. If you supply or sell drugs=death sentence. If you get caught using drugs=public beating. The war would be over before it started. And if you think that's a harsh punishment, you're right. That's the only kind of punishment that works. If you don't want your loved ones to fall into one of these, teach them to not break the law. In a society of swift justice; it would be easy compared to this profit for punishment system we have now. Where the culture sells you on lawlessness and the government officials get to invest in jails.
