  45. A flashlight in our torpedo room was 7500 bucks. Just because it was waterproof and shock proof and selected via the military for contract. It was the size of 2.5 house bricks. And probably 5o to 80 lumens tops. While my surefire defender is 300 bucks, exceeds the quality of that light, is much brighter and fits in my pocket. Moral ofthe story is, the military pays asinine prices for EVERYTHING. So that helmets not as special as you think it is. In reality its probably a couple grand.
