Mine runs 12s with just a tune, exhaust and intercooler. The type R is for literal children. And the integra is for MORONS. I paid 32k for my 22 2.0 sport. HALF the price of this complete garbage waste of money.

  30.  @stinger15au  your idea OF the differences is fundamentally flawed. You arent reengineering anything or "fundamentally" changing the car simply because you bolted on aftermarket parts. Im not talking about making physical changes to the chassis or swapping a motor here. This is shit you LITERALLY bolt on. In many cases an aftermarket part can function IDENTICALLY to an oem part withthe exception of lengthened lifr expectancy, or weight or any number of things. Point is, if you think taking a factory RS3, and putting a grand into tunning it. Which STARTS at 55 grand. Is the same as buying an RS and spending 20 grand on modifications your absolutely mental. Cognitive dissonance is strong with this one. Lets assume you buy the most popular builds of both cars. Which would beabout 60k and 40k. You tune the rs3 to 600 hp. Then you dump 20 grand into the RS, which would most likely exceed 600 at 20 grand.... it would run literal RINGS around the audi. And now is packed to the gills with aftermarket parts specifically designed to be beaten and abused. Its not even remotely the same thing yes, but not for the reasons your saying. But you arent reengineering the car, your just bolting on way better shit than the factory. And trust me, audi doesnt use race track ready parts just because audi, they use the same cheap shit everyone else does. Your paying a retard sucker tax. This same logic can be applied to almost ANY car these days with a good starting platform. The higher end rich douche cars have a more diminishing return % than lower tier companies. All because most rich asshats arent grease monkies and have no fucking idea how to work on cars. I just had my RS up on jacks 2 weeks ago changing to a dual clutch and a LSD, and shit tons of other mods. Assholes that buy audis, lambos, porches etc etc are too pussy "or retarded" to even change a tire on it, let alone break it wide open when its only 1 year old. So get out of here with that weak "purchased enthusiast" mentality.

I would take a PROPERLY heavily modified RS over a stock RS3 for the same money every day of the week. REAL enthusiasts dont buy these cars for status, they buy them for their capabilities. The RS is a FAR superior car in track ability even if you DONT take away the audis 50hp/tq advantage. But if uou did the gap between the 2 would widen. If the audi wasnt a DSG is would be even further behind yet. A DSG in a RS would make it like a damn mini GTR. Its heavier, its softer, its numb to drive. Its inferior in all the reasons a fast car guy guys fast cars. Now If I wanted comfort? Build quality? Space? Status? At the EXPENSE of all out full retard mode track focus, I would choose the RS3 without hesitation. But dollar for dollar these exotics are a shit choice for anyone other than people who dont know shit about cars and wanna go fast from the showroom.

  32.  @stinger15au  my RS makes more hp and tq to the wheels than the rs3 does to the crank from the factory and it cost me an intercooler, piping, intake and a $600 e30 tune. It runs a consistent 12.3-12.4 and its manual not DSG. With a cheaterbox auto it would be a mid 11 car no doubt. Met plenty of rs3s on the highway and even with their cheaterbox auto they get embarrassed. Im 32, I dont buy a sports car for comfort and luxury. Btw, the RS was built in Germany. The RS or anything cosworth has never been built stateside. But im sure you will try to justifh the difference, all suckertax car owners do.

At least its MADE by Mitsubishi, that cant be said of the "supra" cough cough BMW cough cough. It's a BMW Z series. If you go have your mustang suspension and engine "tuned" by another company it doesnt make the tuner mostly responsible for the car, it would still be a ford mustang, tuned by X. this should be a BMW zed "tuned by toyota".

My RS would DECIMATE my civic on a spirited country back road or at a stoplight. Having a fast car does not require it to only be fun on a track. Thats absurd. Sounds to me you have never owned a sportscar of any kind, and arent much of a car enthusiast. How can I guess that? Because you said my civic probably isnt a stick, as that would be a bother to drive. Which tells me you didnt know the RS is a manual. And any car guy worth their own weight in gold knows what an RS is. Also that its AWD, so better in winter. And it only spins all 4 tires from a standstill if its wet or cold, though mine makes 400hp/tq to the wheels.
