  2. Yep. The first African-American president was too juicy a rage-bait engine for media. Hell, Trump rode that racist wave right into the White House. But I think we’re all moving on, because the act has gotten old.

  3.  @kenhiett5266  Sorry, we all remember that Trump rose to political power by screaming that the first black president wasn't actually American, but was an African who faked his birth certificate. That was in Obama's FIRST term. Trump and his handlers expertly used racial animus to form a fervent, even maniacal fanbase that, to this day, wouldn't care if he shot someone in broad daylight on Fifth Avenue (to use his own phrase). We all remember. And the copious amounts of video, radio interviews and Tweets will never allow Republicans to gaslight the memories away. Nice try, no sale.
