@chhansen9813 Why don’t you want multiple days of voting? Why don’t you want a national holiday to vote? Why don’t you want weekend voting? Why do you want ballot boxes removed? HINT: There is an old adage: “When people vote, Republicans lose.”

@H0kieJoe Great, so let’s have that Election Day be on the weekend, right? We don’t want people who are working to miss out on voting, surely. We’ve all seen the massive lines at the end of the day, with the polls closing, and obviously that’s awful, you want everyone able to vote without a huge hassle, right? Why do you think Republicans oppose that idea? 🤔

@someoneunseen5168 Ah, but not nearly as many people voted in 2016 (137.5 million) as 2020 (154.6 million). High turnout almost always means a Republican loss. Which is why they do the indefensible, like removing polling places. This is not a secret. Republicans haven’t won the Popular Vote in decades. Increased turnout decreases their chances of beating the odds with a fluke. It’s the same with gambling… you have a much better chance of beating the house on one hand of blackjack than on 100 hands, because odds are, you’ll eventually regress to the mean, which favors the house. 🤔
