@Robot50000 If what you do can be done by other people around the world for less, it won’t matter if you’re working in-office or not, your job is going over there.

You can't turn back the clock. For a huge number of jobs, work-from-home is far more efficient and productive. Yes, there is value to being together as well, but one to two days a week is plenty. Companies can do whatever they'd like, but for my job, if they want me to return to an hour commute each way, I'll just jump to a competitor. The free market will dictate.

@Bruv234 I’m not sure your brain is built for the future, my friend. How am I more productive by working remotely? Easy. Countless times I’m getting work in during the TWO HOURS A DAY I was commuting. I actually work MORE when I work from home. Plus, by having my workstation at my house, if something needs to be done in an emergency, my bosses just text me, and I get up from my dinner, go fix the problem, send it off, and we’re golden. Long gone are the days when I say “I’m not at work, you’ll have to wait until I drive in tomorrow morning.” It’s almost laughable how quaint that sounds now. The efficiency of our remote workers is almost double that of the folks who do a strict 9-6 in the office.
