For what? I mean, yes, Trump started funding the lab in 2017 (after Obama cut off funding for it), but that doesn’t mean Trump was responsible for the leak.

@jmoney6900 On October 17, 2014, the Obama Administration stopped funding for the Wuhan Lab. You can find the original reporting of it by searching “White House Issues New Regulations for Dangerous Biological Research”. That funding was reinstated in 2017 by then-President Donald Trump.

I’m so glad Trump decided to reverse Obama’s decision to stop funding the Wuhan Lab, and started pouring our tax dollars into it in 2017. Thanks, Trump.

@DavidPacJr Yep. Trump was so eager to overturn Obama-era policies, he just blindly refunded Wuhan. Just as he ended Obama-era regulations for train safety, which resulted in the Palestine accident.

@DavidPacJr Incorrect. The Obama-era regulations called for revamping of the braking systems on that specific type of train. Trump rolled back those regulations. To their credit, FoxNews just did a piece on this yesterday.
