  23.  @jcl5611  The prequels were not just bad, they were spirit-killing-bad. Unwatchable at best. Funny story, though, around 2004 or so, I tried to give Phantom Menace another try, and I rented it from Blockbuster (remember them?). I popped it in the VCR… and realized it was in French. But I kept watching it for 15 minutes, and realized that yes, it still sucked, but it sucked remarkably less when you couldn’t understand a word. 😂

  25.  @alfredosaint-jean9660  I don’t want to answer for him, but I think the key is “modern” Conservatives, I.e. MAGAs, who are very clearly all about racial hatred (Obama birtherism, etc.) and violence. Traditional Conservatives are much more about Christian values like love and compassion.

  28. I think the point of the film is not to stir up your “Red States RULE” or “Blue States Rock!” emotions, but to instead draw your focus to the pointlessness of all the tragedy. Just a hunch.
