Strong white male lead, and the central relationship is with his strong white male dad. This is all FoxNews fearmongering of “The War on Whites!” and “The War on Men!” and blah blah blah.

  6. I didn’t hear you complaining about the first century of movies, where every ethnic lead in source material was played by - or raceswapped to - a white person. 🤔 Now to be fair, whitewashing far predates cinema. The figure of Jesus Christ comes to mind.
