@dadarkpass Yeah, it's total silliness. The fact that they purport to be Christian... and then support a guy who bangs porn stars while his wife is pregnant and profanely insults people multiple times every day...

My kid the other day asked me "Daddy, why does the President call people the S word?" I sighed, sat down and said "Well, sometimes adults do bad things, even the President. But you should NEVER call people that." Cute/horrifying postscript: I thought she was talking about when Trump called a Congressman "Little Adam Schitt" on Twitter... But no. She was talking about him calling someone "Stupid". I laughed, then realized grimly, she has no idea how far down the rabbit hole the adults have actually fallen. Ugh.

@rv3089 I'm Christian. But I think abortion should be legal for the first trimester. Too bad nobody can have a nuanced discussion about it, we only have extremes.

@Britannic hayyomatt Well, as a Christian, I think the way you live every day, and the way you set an example, especially as President, is extremely important. My daughter asked me a month ago "Why does the President use the "s" word?" I had a genuinely difficult time explaining to her that some people don't act well, even the President, but that she should not ever call someone that word. But I could tell she was thinking "Wait, the President can say that, but I CAN'T?!" Ugh.
