Only semi related, but I have a question about the closed Taco Bell. Does anyone know why they stay boarded up for so long? I understand if they hope to get a new tenant in soon, but after 2-3 months, remove it. I'm specifically referring to Taco Bell's, but it's probably applicable to other similar businesses. I've seen how fast one can go up. On a Friday afternoon there was a parking lot and foundation. I assume utilities were ready to go. Trucks were beginning to unload prefab pieces. By Sunday night they were open for business. I realize you can't take it apart as fast, but it should be easy enough to get rid of one within a week.
